Every sightseeing tour and corporate event by MilanoArte, from the most complex to the simplest one, is organized focusing on your interests and goals.
They often say we go the extra mile. That's what makes us proud of our work. That’s what amazes and delights you, isn’t it?
Whether you are looking for places to see in Milan in 24 hours or you need to organize a corporate event including dinner in the halls of the Ambrosiana Library (yes, we can do that) or just wish to reserve a private tour of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper outside its opening hours, do not hesitate to contact us.
We will be pleased to offer you and your guests a perfect guided tour and a unique activity to discover and experience Milan.
MilanoArte is Antonella and Giacomo. We design classic and off the beaten track guided tours and amazing experiences in Milan. Is it your first time in Milan? Great, we will be happy to show you Milan and its jewels and you could not but fall in love with our city. Already familiar with the city? Let us surprise you and show you a Milan you have never known before. We will take you through the hidden corners of the most vibrant city in Italy. Be ready to be both thrilled and amazed: a few other cities are so dynamic as Milan in Italy and even fewer combine masterpieces by Leonardo and Michelangelo with masterpieces of the 21st-century archistars and contemporary street artists.
I'm the co-founder of MilanoArte, the "conductor of the orchestra". I'm the one who checks and double-checks that everything will go as smooth as a premiere at La Scala.
As an art historian I have discovered almost everything about Milan diving into the archives, libraries and museum storage rooms. I wrote a few catalogues and publications for the Curia of Bergamo, the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, the FAI (Italian National Trust), as well as for publishers like Electa Mondadori and La Biblioteca dell'Arte.
I wrote about the secrets of the greatest artists of all time in my book ‘Techniques and Materials of the Arts’. Why Leonardo's Last Supper is under special surveillance today? Either you read it in my book or… reserve a private visit with guide to the Last Supper.
Together with Antonella Fuga, I am the co-founder of MilanoArte, the "orchestra’s first violin". I I'm always in search of new ideas such as the “new-born” Street Art Tours.
I graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage with Dr. Arturo Carlo Quintavalle, one of the greatest Italian experts. As a tour leader and tourist guide in Milan, Monza, Brianza and Varese, I love history and I have a crush on the Middle Ages. I worked at the Handel House Museum in London, but my nostalgia for Milan and its cuisine brought me back home.
By the way, if you want to know where to taste the authentic Milanese veal steak and risotto with ossobuco, ask us about our Drink & Food Tour.
We are MilanoArte, and our tour guides are our most valuable asset!
A team of professional tour guides and tour leaders work with MilanoArte in order to help us tell the story of Milan from our point of view – the city of art, history, fashion and design, as well as of food and lesser-known places.
We don't test them on the number of trees that have been painted by Leonardo in the Sala delle Asse in the Sforza Castle (but if you ask them, they will know it), we don't ask them to name all the figures on top of the Duomo, but we work together so that every visit and every tour we create for you will become unique and inimitable.
We are aware of the importance of our guides. They are the ones who introduce you to our city, they are both the city’s and MilanoArte ‘s ambassadors. They lead you through the marbles and crystals of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele to the exact point where its architect died. They show you where Ernest Hemingway stayed in Milan and was inspired to write "Farewell to Arms" while revealing medieval Milan. They are the ones who know when to stop for a gelato at the best ice cream kiosk in Milan or for a drink in one of the city’s oldest bars while telling you how the Negroni Sbagliato cocktail was born (because it was created right here in Milan). Could you find someone more passionate and talented in showing you Milan and its beauty? We doubt it but just challenge us.
