Bernina Express takes you to the top of the Alps

The Bernina Express, or “Bernina red train” because of its red livery, runs from Tirano, in the upper Valtellina, Italy to Sankt Moritz in Switzerland.

This train crosses alpine landscapes, climbs peaks (it reaches 2,232 m. a.s.l.), runs through tunnels and suspended viaducts that cross the Alps between Italy and Switzerland. The view is breathtaking and a great experience both in summer, when everything is blooming and in winter, when the train makes its way through huge amounts of snow.

During our tour you’ll be able to taste the local cuisine of Valtellina, one of the most curious and peculiar food tradition all over Italy: discover the local wines, some of the best in Italy, local cheese and the pizzoccheri, the most bizarre kind of pasta you’ll ever taste!

A driver will be at disposal all day long. You can also reserve the transfer from Milan or other locations in northern Italy to Tirano train station and back.
