Visit Franciacorta wine cellars

27 December 2018 by MilanoArte Leave a Comment

Nestled between the city of Brescia and Lake Iseo, Franciacorta is an area of rolling hills entirely covered with vineyards, here local producers create the bubbles that compete with Prosecco and the best French champagne.

Less than an hour driving from Milan, here is a tour through the hills to visit ancient palaces, monasteries and castles of Franciacorta. Here are hidden modern wineries and thousands of barrels and bottles that are “aging” on yeasts, because this is precisely one of the characteristics of the Franciacorta method, in addition to the peculiarity of the territory.

Franciacorta is home to some of the most well-known and modern wineries where thousands of barrels and bottles are “aging” on yeasts, because this is precisely one of the characteristics of the Franciacorta method, in addition to the peculiarity of the territory.
The guided tour of Franciacorta includes a tasting of Franciacorta spumante with an oenologist to better understand what is hidden inside those bubbles.

Franciacorta is also very close to lake Garda and Verona. We can organize for you tours of the city of Romeo and Juliet, discover the Medieval streets of the old town and have a concert at the famous Arena! Then you can head to the wonders of Lake Garda, maybe with a private cruise with our boats.

Do you know that the Torbiere del Sebino are located right in the heart of Franciacorta? This amazing natural preserve was actually originated from the excavation of peat. After the activity stopped, the marshes and its vegetation covered the area. Now, it is a green island where to walk and spot wild animals such as swans and little rodents.
